The Bar Association of Norfolk County, founded in 1797 is said to be the oldest Bar Association in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. The objectives of the Association are to further the cause of justice; to sustain and improve the law and it's administration; to insure conformity to a high standard of professional duty; to make the practice of law efficient in the administration of justice; and to promote the professional, educational, and social interests of the Bar.
