The Bar Association of Norfolk County, founded in 1797 is said to be the oldest Bar Association in the Commonwealth. All attorneys on our Referral Panel are members in good standing with the Bar Association of Norfolk County. If you have a legal matter and would like to be referred to an attorney to handle this matter please fill out our LRS Online Request form — or telephone our service at 617-471-9693.

There is no cost to utilize LRS, but referrals are made to fee-charging attorneys.  Your initial half-hour appointment with your attorney will cost no more than $25.00. When you discuss your issue with the attorney, you also should agree on any additional fees before you proceed. All referrals are done on a rotational geographic basis, based upon your needs. Trained staff is available Monday through Thursday- 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to discuss your situation and make an appropriate referral to meet your needs.

We will refer an attorney to you.
We do not provide lists.
We do not make referrals to free attorneys.

The LRS attorney may charge $25.00 for the first half hour of your consultation. You should discuss legal fees at the time of your Consult, and obtain a written fee agreement if you hire the attorney. If the first referral does not work out, feel free to contact us again for another name.
